The state of mobile working: Sunlight Practice Group

Article posted on 8th March 2019

Find out how technology is supporting Sunlight Practice Group in providing high-quality and sensitive care outside of the practice

As part of our state of mobile working documentary, we followed three clinicians from Sunlight Practice Group for two days to see the positive impact technology is having on their mobile working processes.

Sunlight Practice Group looks after 7200 patients and runs a range of domestic home visits, attending four different locations across Port Sunlight in Merseyside, including visits to intermediary care centres, nursing homes and rehabilitation centresWith 11 clinicians running around 35 sessions, having a mobile working solution that supports them in delivering effective, sensitive and accurate care through mobile working is crucial to ensure that the patients who require these visits have the best possible outcomes.

Through the use of technology, Dr Chambers, DrKlotrrop and Dr Clements have found that they’re able to save time, generate efficiencies and improve the patient experience. Watch the full documentary to see what a difference the right technology can make to mobile working.

“By having access to the patients’ medical records through the Anywhere Consult device, it means that we can improve our time efficiencies but also, more importantly, provide better, more sensitive and accurate care.”

Dr Simon Delaney, partner and clinical lead for primary care, Sunlight Practice Group, NHS Wirral CCG.

A special thank you to the teams at Sunlight Group Practice, Daleside Nursing Home and Phoenix Rehabilitation Centre and all patients for helping us put this documentary together.
