NHS Connecting for Health has recently completed the national procurement of an encryption solution on behalf of the NHS.
The selected product, Endpoint Encryption, a McAfee solution, is an enterprise class solution which integrates with existing software deployment tools and can be deployed in both standalone and organisation-wide scenarios.1
Professional installation and support services
Egton can provide those practices and PCTs looking to take advantage of Endpoint Encryption with a fully-managed installation and support service.
All you need to do is arrange for a courier to deliver the laptop(s) or Windows Mobile devices to our head office in Leeds. Once we have received the item(s), we will install the software and arrange for delivery directly back to you.
Once the software has been installed, you will also be able to take advantage of three year’s telephone support via Egton’s technical service desk.
On-site deployment
Egton has experience of project managing the installation of encryption software across a number of Health Boards and PCTs. We have a network of highly-trained engineers who are available to install Endpoint Encryption en masse.

Mass configuration - off-site
Alternatively, if you have a number of laptops that you would like to be encrypted, Egton can arrange collection using our Secure Courier Service.
An Egton driver, CRB checked and complete with ID and uniform, can collect your laptops or Windows Mobile devices in an Egton branded van, providing you further assurance that the data housed on your mobile technology will remain safe.
